Government have closed schools in the state because of the violence from the End SARS protests against police brutality that turned bloody in Nigeria commercial city.
Lagos State Commissioner for Education, Folasade Adefisayo said this year has caused a lot of setbacks leading to frequent closing of schools with the way it always distrupt learning for all children.

"We pray and hope that no more thing will disrupt the academic calendar. However, the Lagos State Government will always regard the safety of pupils/students, parents and all staff as a matter of priority." Adefisayo added.
Remember that it was on the 19 October, 2020 in the heat of the #EndSARS protest that the Lagos State Government directed all pupils/students both in public and private schools to stay at home following the tension that the #EndSARS protests caused.
Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, who issue this order, said that the safety of the pupils/students, parents and all staff working in schools are very important "at this critical period."
Madam Adefisayo added that, it is when they see that things have returned to normal, it is then schools can be reopened.
“Lagos curfew update"
The curfew in Lagos State has changed from Monday 26 October and movement restriction time now is 8pm to 6am.
But all public & private schools remain (closed) shut till further notice.
