How Burna Boy performed "Monsters You Made"
Burna Boy and Coldplay Chris Martin used their powerful performance of "Monsters You Made" to pay tribute to victims of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) that the Nigeria government have dissolved.
Burna Boy performed with full band as the TV screen showed civil rights marches in US and the protests in Nigeria. Chris Martin supported him with an online performance.
"This is for Tiamiyu Kazeem, this is for Kolade Johnson, this is for everyone that lost their lives in the hands of SARS and all kinds of police brutality. End police brutality now and end profiling." Burna Boy said this at the end of his performance as he and the band raised up their hands.
BET also tweeted saying they stand in solidarity with all those who are fighting for justice in Nigeria and added that "RIP to those who lost their lives to the violence that happened in Nigeria."
