About three years ago Starboy made the announcement that he is going to release his Nigerian sound and here is the album.
This is Wizkid fourth studio album released after Sounds from the Other Side which was released in 2017.
What to know about the album?
The album contains fourteen songs and has collaborations with Nigerian celebrities like Burna Boy, Tems, and Tay Iwar.
He also collaborated with some international stars like Damien Marley, H.E.R, Skepta, Prpojexx and Ella Mai.
The album art that he sampled in September 2020 is not the same one that he will launch the songs with.
The new album art is a picture of Wizkid that covered one side of his face with one hand wearing a ring that has the Nigerina flag.
Starboy first announced that he will drop the album on October 1st, 2018 and then December of that year, when he did his concert in Nigeria, Made In Lagos Festival but instead, he dropped two singles, Fever and Master Groove.
On June, 2019, he posted about how Made In Lagos is going to be one of the best album that he has ever done but nobody has seen it.
In 25th September, Wizkid released Smile featuring R&B star, H.E.R which was a single from the Made In Lagos that he dedicated to all his children.
He promised that he will drop the album, on October 15th but the date got shifted again because of the End Sars protests that has been happening during that period.
Many people on social media have been anticipating this album as Wizkid said he will drop it at 11:11 pm on Thursday which he did.

The album is number one on Apple chart list before it was even released.
The album is out and you can stream it on all online platforms.
