Nigeria youths in Lagos,Port Harcourt and Abuja organized a candle light procession to honour the lives that the Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS unit of the Nigeria police has killed.

He talked about the disbandment of SARS, that the officers from that unit are not going to be part of any tactical squad.

The Vice President also apologized “to the families of Jimoh Isiaq and all those that have died in the hands of police officers. Those that are injured, to get fully and speedy recovery.

We have proposed that each state government set up Victim's Support Fund, that will support. This is the least we can do to compensate for the injustice suffered from wayward officers ”

Judicial Panels of Inquiry.
